Announcing our Autumn Lecture and AGM: 24 November 2020

This year’s Autumn Lecture – Mapping the Outlier – Cartography at the FT in 2020 – will be held virtually on Tuesday 24 November at 7pm. Alan Smith from the Financial Times will deliver the lecture, focusing on the challenges faced by the Visual and Data Journalism team at the FT as it tackles the issues of today.

This will be followed by the Society’s AGM at 8pm. You can view the full notice of the AGM, including biographical details of the nominees for Council positions, here.

Members must register for the event through Eventbrite (please note, we are restricted to 100 members). They will then have access to the event, hosted on Google Meet. We will be recording the event so non-members and those who can’t attend can still access it afterwards.

Members have been sent details of how to book onto the virtual event by email or post. If you have not received anything, please get in touch with our administrator, Liz Bourne, at admin@cartography.org.uk
